Use tree view to browse through sites and folders. Use the tree view to quickly find and edit documents.

New documents are marked as "new!" Use the tree view to browse and open sites, add-ins, document libraries, and folders.


Use the "Documents Tree View" App Part to open all documents in Office or in the browser.

The App Part can be set to show documents from a subsite and the look and feel of the content can be customized by including a link to custom stylesheet.

Analytics over end-user actions

- Number of views per hour

User Guide

Use the DocumentsTreeView App

1. Open Site Contents 
2. Click on DocumentsTreeView 
3. Click on the arrows to open the content 
4. Click on site, folder or document library to open it in new tab 
5. Click on document to open the document 

Use the Documents TreeView App Part

1. Edit Page on your site 
2. Click on "Insert" tab and select "App Part" 
3. Select "Document TreeView" 
4. Save the page 

Open documents in browser or with Office

1. Edit the "Document TreeView" App Part 
2. Expand "DocumentTreeView" tab 
3. Select "Open with Office" or "Open in the browser" 
4. Click on "OK" button and save the page 

Show content from a library

1. Open a library you want to show and copy the entire URL address 
2. Open a page and edit the "Document TreeView" App Part 
3. Expand "DocumentTreeView" tab 
4. Enter the URL address into the field 
5. Click on "OK" button and save the page 

Set the subsite URL as a start site for showing content

1. Edit the "Document TreeView" App Part 
2. Expand "DocumentTreeView" tab 
3. Enter the URL address into the field 
4. Click on "OK" button and save the page 

Analytics

1. Open Site Contents and click on the DocumentsTreeView 
2. Click on "Analytics" in the top menu 
Click on "Clicks" tab to see th enumber of clicks 
Click on "Clicks - Content" in order to see what documents users have clicked on 

Hide/Change App Part Title

1. Edit the "Document TreeView" App Part 
2. Enter text in Title field to change the title 
3. Select "None" in "Chrome Type" dropdown to hide the title 
4. Click on "OK" button and save the page
